What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that uses a series of custom-made, clear plastic aligners to gradually move your teeth into their ideal position. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible, removable, and more comfortable, making them a popular choice for both teens and adults.

The Procedure

  1. Consultation & Digital Scan – We assess your smile and take 3D digital scans to create a personalized treatment plan.

  2. Custom Aligners – Your custom aligners are created to gently shift your teeth into place over time.

  3. Wearing Your Aligners – Wear each set of aligners for 20-22 hours a day, switching to a new set approximately every 1-2 weeks.

  4. Progress Checkups – Visit our office every 6-8 weeks to monitor your progress and receive your next set of aligners.

  5. Enjoy Your New Smile! – Once treatment is complete, we’ll provide you with retainers to maintain your beautifully straightened teeth.

FAQ

  • How long do dental implants last?
With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime, though the crown may need replacement after 10-15 years.
  • Are dental implants better than dentures?
Implants provide a permanent, stable solution that prevents bone loss and does not require adhesives, unlike traditional dentures.
  • Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Candidates should have good overall health, adequate jawbone density, and healthy gums. Our team will evaluate your condition to determine the best treatment plan.
  • Is the procedure painful?
Local anesthesia is used during surgery, minimizing discomfort. Some soreness may occur post-surgery, but it can be managed with prescribed or over-the-counter pain medication.
